CNC - Forest

  • Refinery - Barracks/Hand of Nod - Weapons Factory/Airstrip - Tiberium Team Silo
  • Small map with much space for Infantry and Tank actions
  • not based on Old RenX maps

Guys re-download the Team Tiberium Silo file for in-game

 

I putted the .u file in the wrong file so it could have been broken :/

Yes, I was never sure about the time. Maybe I will make a night and day version for this map. But for that I need a final version first.

In 1.0.1 I just added the Tiberium Team Silo to the zip. I fixed the wrong location of the RX_Env_Fallen.upk data, too. Final version is coming in a few days.:)

Whoa don't say that. There is no such thing as a final version. People always find bugs or have suggestions for it to make it better :)

1 question:

Can somebody say me, if he can see the Skeletal Mesh from the Mammoth Mark II on the desk near GDI barracks ingame?

Some people were saying me in a older version, that they can't see it.

(Sorry, I have no better screen at the moment)

@Luhrian no the MMKII isn't visible in-game

 

I think what's going on. The in-game package of the MMKII is an older version which only contains a static mesh and a material

Include the MMKII package to your map and it should be fixed OR replace the Skeletal Mesh with the Static Mesh one

 

Idea:

You could make the MMKII as a hologram so it looks like the design is there but it isn't build yet

I'm not seeing a sky on your map, just purple/grey missing textures where the sky is supposed to be.

Oh god dam, I added the sky material to my package, but why it doesn't worked? I'll try to find a solution and will fix it asap. Expect 1.1.1 today.

@Luhrian you need to check you copied the texture of the sky to your own package and applied to the sky in your map.

There is a cluster of untextured tib crystals on top of the rock at the nose of the c130, spotted by Try-Out.

Also, I recommend placing a damage_volume at the fire burst of the pipe, it is a part of the pipe which goes above and over the river/stream a part which infantry can walk along.

CNC-ForestNight.ini is broken I'm going to fix it now.

You can play Forest on Skirmish if you remove the old .ini file

The tech-building Medical Center doesn't seem to work, when captured it wont increase your health or auto-heal your character.

I think the GDI/Nod Tiberium Silos could be moved closer to the other buildings. When playing a game recently it was hard to run from another building to disarm a beacon at the Nod Silo, or run there to repair it when it's under attack.
