Hi,

Just installed this game demo and am having problems moving around the landscape. When I stop input by keyboard, my character moves to the left without my input, this happens to a degree when I am moving him around so aiming etc is quite difficult.

This is on Win7 Home Premium +SP1 64bit, Phenom II x4 840 3.2G, Radion HD5670 1G mem, 8G ram. Attached is a Saitek P2500 Rumble game pad and a MS USB optical mouse.

I have seen this with the Dr. Who games released by the BBC so didn't play them either.

Any ideas what might be causing it?

I dont know why but I had the same problem that the player was looking to the sky and was turning left all the time. You have to edit your UDKInput.ini. Set "LookRIghtScale" and "LookUpScale" to 0.

At developers: You should set these values back to 0.

Check if an analog stick on your game pad isn't centered, that's the only thing I can think of that'd cause something like this, maybe remove it all together.

Yeah it sounds like the gamepad could be causing issues, try unplugging it and see if that helps.

Hi

It was the Saitek that was causing the problem, I disconnected it and played via keyboard etc and all was fine. Left it a while and then connected the Saitek again and the left movement is not happening, but the signals from one of the pads is getting swapped, left/right on pad translates to up/down on screen and vice versa. I tested with a few other games and others ok.

So just got to work out the switching conflict.
