to all,

i seem to have problems connecting to the servers; i have UT3 Black updated to 2.1 via steam, with Ren-X installed in the right place. however, when i try to connect to the server proper it does one of two things. either a) it just shows the main menu and never transfers to the actual game or b) it transfers to the game, freezes, and then i get this message in the error log:

[23:41:57]: Server Details: Error retrieving server details: RenegadeXServer.com Slaughterhouse #1 Ranked (US) - Unable to read data from the transport connection: A connection attempt failed because the connected party did not properly respond after a period of time, or established connection failed because connected host has failed to respond.

mind you, my computer can run UT3 on FULL setting on its native resolution with these specs:

I have a similar problem, but mine is i have the launcher open i can see the servers i try to join 1, it loads it up gets on to UT3 game but with renx background etc. But only shows ut3 games and doesnt load me straight into the server i tried to connect to through the launcher.

I am using the steam version of UT3 Black

So its a bad time to start playing renegadeX yet ^^'....
Is that normal that i have only 2 Servers in the frontend and cant add more servers ?

Or in general .. are there activ servers with activ members currently ??

Iam really confused ?!? pls tell me whats the situation currently that would be very nice ^^

Ah yes and renegade x have a new member ! AAAAnd iam a php programmer with ambitions to learn c# c++ if you have something easy stuff to do i will try it ^^.

Those are the only two servers that I know of, or at least report to us. Sundays and Saturdays are our busiest for players.
