Just downloaded and installed UT3 from steam, guessing it's all patched and stuff. Then downloaded and installed the Ren-X 0.55 beta from the main link on the website. Ran the mod, and I get the error in the picture:



So I downloaded the file http://www.renegade-x.com/sc/updates/Renegade-X.exe and replaced the exe with it.

I installed everything to their default locations. Now when I try to start Ren-X I get this series of messages:








What should I do?

http://www.renegade-x.com/sc/updates/Renegade-X.exe use this ... repace the renegade-X.exe in you my Documents\My Games\UT3\Renegade folder ... if that folder or file is not there you have installed the mod to the wrong place

I already have that file. The messages from the second set of screenshots is what appears after I try to launch that file from the folder "C:\Users\Username\Documents\My Games\Unreal Tournament 3\Renegade"

Is that the right folder?

The error seems to be complaining about the file being non 64 bit?

the file that i posted is a updated 1 ... and is compatible with 64 bit ... but i think there is a problem on the server side as a few people have been having problems updating today

well i dont know lol ... you could try my installer it has alot of the 0.55 updates but it still needs the latest update

Okay, so i already had UT3 installed, then i installed 0.55 beta and when i started it, it said there was an update available.
I checked here for the updates and the megaupload link doesn't work so i went to http://www.renegade-x.com/sc/updates/ and downloaded nearly all files from top to bottom and it still doesn't work.

Can you make an 64-bit compatible version of the updater or make another upload with an complete installer/update and i would be very grateful since i really want to try this mod out for a bit or maybe more.

Works for me too, but the update doesn't work for me. As soon as I try to start the program, the button for "Refresh Servers" says "Refreshing..." and just stays like that and does nothing.

This one should fix the problems we are having with the website, since it has a mirror in it now.
