As you may have noticed our Server Slaughterhouse has been down, this is because of the current economic crisis we simply do not have enough funds to keep it running We are doing our best to find alternative arrangement but are having very little luck The servers we rent just don’t have the resources and rent is quite expensive. To run the Slaughterhouse server we would need to upgrade our servers to incorporate the RenegadeX server and as such need !donate dudley@mp-gaming.com £,$,€XX.xx

A decent server box fully covered costs 90 € per month. Not much, if just 10 people help funding it, but for one alone it is

Hell, you can use a spare server that I have if you want... It's for sure powerfull enough (and better located too).

It's not the official server so they don't need my approval Just fans paying and playing.

Sounds really nice ! I also think that 90€/month is a bit much for Renegade X Server if you compare them with the counterstrike ones.
Moreover i dont think it needs 64 slots for players less then the half is more than enough !

I wholeheartedly agree.

Unfortunately the UT3 engine is a real resource hog even server side and an empty RenX server eats as much as 4 equal CSS servers, which I run as well. When all servers are populated, say with 10 people each, it even raises to 6-7 times as much.

Knock it down to a 32 player server and I will donate, since 64 is over kill and we have not filled both yet. and ya... 90 Euro is insane. I know many hosters your way over paying since counterstrike and Crysis servers are 90 cents a slot.
