Short and simple, Renegade X delivers. The gameplay is still excellent, the graphics far outclass ol' Renegade in every sense, and the effort put in is extremely impressive. It's still unfinished, and I personally miss the radio commands most of all - which Fobby tells me should be coming down the pipeline soon - but overally, it's an excellent first start. I'm honestly eager to see where the team take Renegade in later versions of the mod.
