I have installed Renegade X, but when i go to play the game is extremely choppy and 3-5 seconds behind. i am running a stock HP G62-355DX but have no clue what need to be upgraded, or if it can be upgraded

the laptop specs are not too bad its the CPU that is making the game coppy and 3gb of ram is not that good (32bit Windows will not see over this anyway sux but if my info is correct the win you have is 64bit so you can go to the full 8GB if you like)

its a laptop so ya haven't got much of a choice in what to upgrade RAM and HDD but only Ram will help

laptops are not meant to be upgraded the chases are usually made aseptically for the components that go in that are non stander sizes and ports unlike a tower ...

you say its stock and as such proboly has a lot of "crapware" on it all the crap that comes with the system when bought ... it might be an idea to remove or use MSconfig to stop / remove the crapware from running to save resources for gaming
