Hi I installed Unreal tournament 3 then right after that I installe renegade x. I also made the shortcut with the -mod=..\Renegade -solomod just behind the target but when I start it it starts the normal unreal tournament 3 instead of the Renegade X mod. Can somebody help me please I also tried to connect with the server client but it won't connect either and just starts unreal tournament 3.

Did you install the mod in the correct directory?

Was it a steam copy of UT3?

I installed it in the My Games/Unreal Tournament 3 directory. I have steam but I didn't download it from steam I installed it from the DVD
It's not in the steam directory just program files/Unreal tournament 3

You need to place the startup command in front of the target, not behind.

I'm using steam, but you'll know already where your actual installation directory is in Program Files.

Well that was not the problem I already had it behind. The Problem was I didn't patch the game I have removed Renegade X, patched the game reinstalled Renegade X and now it's working. Thanks for the help anyway
